Well I dont have much hope left for my chicks. No one seems to know where they are. Called and went into my local office. I dont understand how no one has scanned them in 36 hours. And supposedly no one even knows where they are.

I am so sorry, but sending prayers they are found safe.

They where accept at 4 pm on Tuesday.

I know lately my shipments on eggs and birds haven't been updated until AFTER they arrive. Still saying a prayer as it's been just 2 days. Were these chicks? or juveniles? Hopefully if they were chicks they put some heating packs in with them.

So, not a single SFH, I'm pretty dubious on my ccls

but on the upside, the coronation sussex and seramas are looking really good! My new fancy-schmancy converted wine cooler incubator is performing like a pro. I'm still kicking myself big-time, though, for not having had a good reliable bator together for my sfhs and ccls, dang it! It was just too many temperature swings for them, I think.

Which means, of course, I need to get more!!!

Hoping for a good hatch for you CJ! I think a heat spike would be worse than an outage from what everyone has shared.. smart thinking leaving the door closed.

We had an outage last night and I immediately went to cover the eggs and it came right back on but I was surpised to see how quickly the temps dropped. It was only out for eight minutes and already down in the 80s. I candled today and that's why.. I've been so good about leaving them alone but this was a good excuse.

I'm still a newbie!

The Arkansas Blues and Buttercups are due to hatch this weekend. The most expensive eggs are on day 7 if I remember right.

If your Blues and Buttercups don't hatch, I will send you some more.

Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the GFF eggs if those are the ones on day 7. Maybe they are past that initial crucial spot.

They were chicks. Day olds. White bresse. I dont know how they where packed. The sender is not answering me either. Not to happy

And actually, if you've got a sturdy 'bator it's pretty amazing how long they'll hold heat for. MEGA fingers crossed for you!!!

All three are going at the moment - Hovabator Genesis, Brinsea 20, and Brinsea Mini.

Oh, ugh! srpaint, I'm so sorry to hear that. What is up with the post office these days???

FWIW I can echo what was said above -- I've had a lot of things showing up before the tracker was even updated past the initial acceptance scan. So, fingers crossed for you!
