Do you have a theater near you? I have to go to Gainesville to see anything in the theater...

Lake City or Gainesville. hey make your DH watch the kids and we can go!!

I will ask... He is off Mondays and Tuesdays, so those are the only days I can do it. Or... Have my oldest stay at preschool a little longer and bring the baby. Sadly, I think that is the most likely option!

Anyone interested in:

Juvenile pair of Welsummers
4 LF Salmon Favorelle pullets
assorted silkies including a paint roo
A Splash Polish cockerel with some copper leakage, and a Polish buff barred crele roo?

I think that is it atm.... if anyone is interested maybe in a side swap or something?  Thanks!!

Seriously? I might just have to take the welsummers off your hands. I have been resisting getting hatching eggs, but I have a 2 month old hen... So maybe your pair will go nicely? What would you like for them?

I was going to quote that big long one that CPL posted yesterday, but it was too long... but THANKS CPL for all you do and for being so generous with your chickens!! I haven't gone through all the pages from last night, I think I would be too depressed, lol, but I'm VERY excited for all the eggs I already have coming!!

Thank you. To be honest you have to thank Madamwlf she was the 1st to offer her Tolbunts and CCL on swap. I had other ideas about what to do with my chickens, picture Scrooge Mcduck rubbing his hands together over piles of gold coins!! Replace Scrooge Mcduck with CPL planning my world chicken domination. After i saw how happy people were to get those eggs I decided I would much rather share these great chickens with everyone who wants them.

Speaking of trading horses for chickens if my 30+ horse we left in California when we moved hadn't died I would not have had the money to get started in chickens.

Babymakes6 sorry it wasn't a real horse, I with I had known you years ago when I had a bunch of horses I would have gladly given you one. I know you'll get a horse someday!!

I can't find the post but someone said babymakes6 must be like the energizer bunny. You have no idea. One morning we were on the phone talking chickens she made one of the girls a new dress for school for THAT morning, feed them , got them ready for school, she was probaly making homemade bread, posting here and canning all at the same time!! She's a dynamo and a VERY good mom and friend.

Sharing is just a lot of fun. My chickens are a hobby. I try to make some money off of them to help pay for feed but as long as I enjoy my hobby, I'm good.

You forgot to mention that my house is seldom clean! Cleaning is NOT my strong point! Cooking, sewing, canning, gardening, painting, or spending time with my family, friends, and animals-THAT is what I would rather be doing!
