Just locked down everybody. Honestly I'm scared stiff. My first two hatches were so good and then my last two were so awful, I can't help feeling a little -- okay, totally -- terrified. Nothing to do now but wait!

I'll blame that on not knowing about the contest tonite on contest15, now that you mention it, I have only gotten emails for PMs also, not the other stuff..... grrrr... have to be able to blame something

Dear Swappee,

I regret that I am unable to fulfill your swap at this time. The girls are on strike. We spoke with the mediator. I have met all of their demands. I agreed to room service. They get their breakfasts delivered to their rooms every morning. They get their apartments cleaned weekly with touch ups daily. I agreed to renovate the sum rooms this year. I have met all of their demands, yet they conspire behind closed doors. I suspect they're debating also asking for hot baths and foot massages. Contract negotiations are at a stand still. Miss Claire in Apartment C(CL) has refused to go on strike and is still working. The rest of the tennants are treating her poorly. I think she may cave to the pier pressure soon. (I'm secretly slipping her contraband.) But the rest of the ladies are being unreasonable. If we don't come to a resolution soon, I'll just close the plant and they'll all be unemployed. Let's see if they like those Twinkies! Swappee, please be patient with me during our contract negotiations.

I just locked down two from Candace as well as an ee I think. Might have to swap some day olds if someone can give me tips on shipping chicks! There are going to e WAY too many babies! Hmmmm maybe a custom carrier with 6+ mystery chicks for the NYE bash..... Potentially a bresse or two if I get a REALLY good hatch!

So nervous that I'm going to get outbid at the last second like te last I've lost track of how many times :/ y'all keep your fingers crossed! I've got chicks and more due o hatch on NYD but it would be SO nice to be able to have juveniles!!!!!!

BTW great post.

I was getting some days 2 eggs in 12 hours from my SLW hen.... then I figured out the light were on for 23 1/2 hours a day. I thought it was odd that the light would go out for a little while during the day and checked it.... not sure how long that was going on. Didn't make anyone else lay any eggs but she got busy and laid 2 a day.
