I used to boil them, cool them, then squish them, shell and all. This works so much faster. A half hour at 350 in the convection oven. A little longer or hotter in a standard oven. If you spray the pan first, it lifts right out. I have the third pan full cooling right now.totally awesome idea i scramble the eggs and fling spoonfuls into the runs....this is much better
If you don't want to waste the shells, you can bake them dry and break them up too. I just toss the shells though and buy 50# of oyster shell at a time.
