Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

In my experience it's normal. I won some chicks from GFF a couple of times and they stated in the auction they would send them within 2 weeks. There was really no communication about when I wanted them, it was simply an email that they were sent with the tracking number. It worked out for me as I work from home and am very flexible but I can also see how someone would need to arrange things.
As a side note I'm very happy to say that a 4 of the eggs I won from them were from the breese pens and all 4 are developing nicely! :D

Yeah I guess I just expected with the live birds they might say hey hope you're not going out of town!

SO happy your bresse are developing! I'm so excited about the new chicks in the bator and still sad but a tiny bit hopeful about the eggs under my broody though I do think it just got too cold :/

Here are a couple more breeds to drool over:

though the odd thing is I received no correspondence to ask if I was ready or available. I mean I will make myself available for sure! Is that normal though?

Yep. That's their MO.

That stinks but you never know. One of my kids left the lid off of the incubator for a full night about 6 months back and most of them still developed. There is hope!
I'm very happy with how the eggs are developing from them. I bid on 12, they sent 13 and 10 are developing nicely. 4 Breese, 3 CCL, 1 Marans and 2 Rhodebars

. Their shipping charges are for overnight and its double what priority is however it was definitely worth it (so far) for the fertility results. I keep checking out the 18 they have up now on RBA and have to sit on my hands to keep myself from bidding!

Quite honestly, that could be considered animal cruelty - not making sure that someone will be there to accept a live animal before shipping. I think one complaint to the FL SPCA would clear up their communication problems pretty darn fast!

I am hoping people will leave the Isbar eggs alone so I can win them. I used my other username.... it's crazy4chickens, I didn't realize that's what I was signed in under, in case anyone wants to be nice and ignore that auction.

I'm looking at RBA egg auction again. Is RMCumbo a member here? Now that I know the customs I'd like to try to follow them....of course those eggs are sooo tempting!
