I'd be afraid they'd escape and infest my house or something! I've never seen a "wild" one, only in the pet store, and I think I'd rather keep it that way!

I've met up with people in parking lots with chickens, hatching eggs, frogs, fruit fly cultures, springtail cultures.....and who knows what else, it always feels like a drug deal...............
I'm meeting someone tomorrow at a feed store to pickup a trio of POL chickens........................I'll post pictures when I get "them",![]()

They won't breed below a certain temperature. They couldn't stand the Md winters so I'm not worried about that at all.I'd be afraid they'd escape and infest my house or something! I've never seen a "wild" one, only in the pet store, and I think I'd rather keep it that way!

Just had a call from a customer (not chicken related) she called us at 7pm on Christmas eve in a panic, her daughters hamster had died that morning. (we had an add for bunnies running before Christmas) She wanted to know would we open for her come get a bunny for Christmas. 10 minutes later after hanging up she was pulling in, we uncovered the bunnies and she spent time looking them over making a selection. Well todays call was to tell us how thrilled the entire family is with this rabbit. He is 8 weeks old now and fully little box trained and runs to the little girl when he sees her so he can sleep in her lap.
and this is why we have a farm and open at odd hours.![]()
Quote: Great story!! we have a number of ducks in 4H homes this year. A pair of Khaki took best over all beating out the heavy ducks making one happy owner
20? I can't remember when I only had 20. That's like remembering when I was a size 6. It lasted about the same amount of time.![]()
