Wow, I just looked at my spreadsheet, sometime between now and ..........................whenever...................I have 7.5 dozen chicken and 8 duck eggs coming. Plus a bunch of live babies, yikes! I just finished setting a bunch of eggs too........................................I am SO addicted.

Anyone want to come and help bathe chickens? I entered 31 birds in the show at the end of the month.

Do you all think a run that is 4 feet wide and 10 feet long with a house and roost is adequate for most chicken breeds if you only have a trio (I'm not talking about the "very large" types)???

I don't see why not. That's over the recommended 10 sq ft per bird.

Mine had colds too when it rained a few weeks ago and apparently they don't know how to get out of the cold rain. My roo is soaked.

Actually, they generally close their eyes and kind of fall asleep. Kind of like going in a hottub. And the silkies LOVE the hairdryer.

Everyone please say a prayer for my mom, she had a mild heart attack sunday morn. I"ve got her in the hospital and she seems to be doing a lot better tonight. I know things have to get better soon
