It's warm out today (43F!), so we spent some time scraping, scrubbing and disinfecting the porch and driveway. We're in warming up on break then it's back out to spot clean the bird room. But the porch was like a mine field! They have been out for a few days now, but only had access to the yard today, sso they've been chillin on the porch and driveway, pooping it up for the past few days. Yuck! G had a conversation with them... "If I had any idea that you'd poop so much on the porch, I'd never have agreed to let you be here." I added that they needed to put their big boy and girl panties on and go in the yard, snow or no snow!

Your not too far from me and were at 62 today. I actually got to water my birds with my hose today.

For those who are wondering about nye prizes, not all the prizes were used. It took me all day to try to match up winners with eggs that they would like/use. So some of you had prizes donated that did not get used. Some of the prizes that were donated I was not even sure who donated so I did the best I could. Corancher was the grand prize winner of the eco glow brooder. If I get a chance to compile an official list of the prize winners i will do so.

If your name was listed with the prize you donated, you were pmed along with the winner. If your name was not posted with your prize donation, the winner was contacted along with CPL because I did not know who to contact. :D

See he does love you, us guys are suckers for our girls.  I know it gets confusing but me and my wife both share the same post.:frow

Hehe I think he was just excited to know he didn't have to worry about what to get me for my birthday ;)
I sent him a picture of the columbian hen... He actually asked what she was, and said "cool".
Like, he actually thought she was nice! I don't expect him to love chickens as I do (though it would be nice ) but it was very nice of him to let me add some birds, even though he doesn't like them

LOL

My husband takes me to the Maryland sheep and wool festival every year for my birthday. This year he has no clue that I'm hoping to stop by madamwlfs and pick up some chickens. she lives really near the fairgrounds. Him going with me is my birthday present...a whole day of boredom while carrying my purchases....it has to be love!!!!

I think his ulterior motive is that he can make sure I don't bring home any sheep.
