LOL

My husband takes me to the Maryland sheep and wool festival every year for my birthday.    This year he has no clue that I'm hoping to stop by madamwlfs and pick up some chickens.  she lives really near the fairgrounds.  Him going with me is my birthday present...a whole day of boredom while carrying my purchases....it has to be love!!!!

I think his ulterior motive is that he can make sure I don't bring home any sheep.

So this May, you and I get to meet. I hook up with a bunch from Ravelry for lunch in the barn and watch the sheep show while we eat. You need to join us! Yay! And if Madamwlf lives that close, I may just have to arrange some egg pickup this year as well! I can stop wherever I want...I'm driving!

I would say it is way too early to even think about veining. Wait until day 7. I don't see any yet. I've even had eggs at day 7 with no veining but left them in. At day 10 there was veining.

Can I go??????????

I definitely love candling. I am pretty good at it and love seeing those embryos develop. I told my friend who has baby fever to get herself some eggs and a Bator... It cures baby fever!

Madam, you don't see it? obviously the quail one is really hard to see but there is a little dot in there. I know it is very early... I was kind of surprised to see as much on the leghorn egg as there is.
I wish I had an app to draw on the pics to show exactly what I see. Anyone know of one??

Is it the reddish stuff? I thought maybe that was marker or something.
