So I am enlisting the help of my neighbor to help deworm the birds Saturday. This should be fun. I'm going to use the Ivermectin since it only has to be done once.

Mayberry? Lol!
Yeah, didn't you watch that show when you were little?

Well, since it has been pretty warm here, I did it outside, but I guess low 60s high 50s at night is too low?
I left it for two days, it wasn't bubbly but had a mild mild mild fermenty smell, I fed it to my free rangers and they still ate it up. Maybe it wasn't enough acv?
I will try a couple other things before the quail hatch. I am expecting about 60 to hatch baring no disasters, quail babies make a lot of stinky poo.

I think so. I started with a quart jar and about a teaspon of ACV. All I could smell for about the first four days was wet feed. Now I use the drained liquid to start the next batch, adding enough water so the feed is submerged, and it starts bubbling within 1/2 day. I keep it on the counter in the kitchen which has been in the upper 50s to 60s. I'm now repurposing gallon ice cream pails, making enough in each batch to feed for two to three days. I have not use any ACV since the initial start up.
