Kind of, but I want the inside enclosed, like a shed type deal. Solid walls, and then just wire keeping the different pens seperate. Like what our SPCA has for the dogs, but with chicken mods, lol.

And who knows what I would get to love if I didn't live in VA
It is really mucky here this week! I wish if it was going to snow it would actually snow instead of this slushy mess!
I just "love" having a teenaged son who's ex-girlfriend wont leave the poor boy alone
I'm getting NPIP started and will fill out the VA paperwork as soon as I get my number!![]()
Have you looked at sending those UPS ground? Id imagine it would be cheaper and not much slower. Unless you are sending parcel post, but I'm always paranoid pp will get lost. IIRC the break point is about 5 lbs, unless the box is so bulky that post office charges extra. If you can email me a few photos to work with I can definitely draw something up! Just email them to [email protected]
As far as the carriers, I think to get to the east coast without having to send a massive box a flat packed kit will be easiest. We'll see how much it costs to send to MD first![]()
Some of those feathers look like they are turning up. Mind you I have only raised like 6 frizzled birds so I am sooo not an expert!I have a few pictures for you guys. First, can you tell me what kind of chicken this white one is? A local lady gave them to me claiming the eggs where gold laced sebrightsit is about three weeks old![]()

And this is a LF cochin that Kraftyladies have me, from an egg she hatched from acechix. It's a splash, but will she be frizzled? She is about two weeks old - probably too soon to tell?

try putting one of the plugs back inHELPPPP!!! I should getting the eggs in lockdown today. Since the humidity has stayed around 37 or so--dry hatch--I started adding the warm water and made sure the plugs were out like the instructions say. After 2 hours, this is where I stand:
I had it at 68 and it is steadily dropping...on 63 now. The bottom trays have water with a wet washcloth draped across them. There are two wet maxi pads also under the bottom. On the rack with the eggs, I have two baby food jars of water with sponges and two additional 1 in x 1.5 in sponges sitting on the bottom. What else can I do? I can't ruin them!![]()
