Nobody can make a claim on that box. Know why? For one, I'm betting they didn't put insurance on them, which the PO does not have to replace or fix a problem without insurance. Second, it's listed when you ship, that fragile items need to be packed in a safe manner or whatever... Those were tossed in a box by someone who has no idea what they're doing. File with paypal and explain to the person, if they give you any crap, put a NEGATIVE feedback and link to the picture, I think you can.

Do herons eat chickens? I've got a blue heron who seems to have a fascination with my chickens. It's out sitting on the fence across the field just watching my hens. Tommy's doing a great job of patrolling along the fence closest to it and barking. Should I be concerned?

they eat baby turtles and ducks too if even the chance but wont tackle a full grown hen. We have them plus a wide variety of other wading birds here all of the time.

Blue Herons eat fish so you should be fine.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. They sure are BIG birds. Yesterday I turned around and there it was, only about 5 ft away, standing in the driveway, almost as tall as me, just staring at me. It was rather...um...disturbing.

We have lots of birds around, a pair of bald eagles, a bunch of different hawks, a pair of blue herons and a lone green one. At least the eagles and hawks will scream at me, the herons are just so quiet. it's erie.

lol the cranes are like that too............. just stand there silently staring at you. The spoonbills are my favorite visitor.

Oh my gosh those birds are so gorgeous. I just love birds... had a flock eating our outside cats catfood this morning and I am just mesmerized. They are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing the photos.
