The double yolk SFH egg is growing really well. It is a super huge egg, so i am hoping both of the little ones will make it!

Man, that's not long after my anniversary. I wonder if there's anything in the area that would interest DH. Then once we were there I could find out that amazingly there's a swap there too lol!

I'm moving to NC. That is where the cool kids are.

I wish some of you lived my way. How awesome to have that many chicken friends around!

I need more pictures ....I keep showing my husband pictures of your birds to try and talk him into ducks or geese. I think I am softening him...

My DH does not want to add ducks because we've already grown exponentially from our original plan to get "a few hens for eggs". I know that has to sound familiar to some of you lol! Well, I broke down and claimed duck eggs because duckling are so stinkin cute and ducks make me laugh! This is my plan....OH MY GOODNESS! WHAT is coming out of that egg? Oh, gracious, it appears to be a DUCKLING! I don't know how that happened! LOL! He'll forgive me. If he really insists after that, my brother would love to have them and he lives just down the road a ways.

You don't want that chick fluff in your incubator.  It will start to coat the motor parts and fan.  It's not easy to clean out.  I found that out the hard way.  Better to hatch in a separate one.

DH is an auto painter so he uses an air compressor for lots of things. The blower fitting is awesome! He uses it to blow all the dust off a car before he sprays; I use it to blow out chick fluff! Works wonders!

I mentioned earlier, but my late night posts seem to get missed at times... any of you happen to visit Yellowstone, give me a holler... I live about 1.5 hours from one of the entrances, 1.5 hours from Jackson Hole the other way around the mountains.. all of the decent hotels are here where I live or Jackson Hole, but the price in Jackson will be twice as much sometimes... plus we have more shopping here

We visited Yellowstone in 2009 and I'd love to go back again and visit you while there.........but there are a few (actually quite a few) other places we have never been yet so they will come first. If a second trip is ever possible, I'll be contacting you!!

Ha! I have a similar plan. I am warming him up with the cute pictures but he doesn't know I have already claimed "assorted poultry" from reesepoultry. I mean they are assorted and she said it "may" contain ducks (I sure hope so) but really I can't be held responsible for the assortment...right? So its gonna be a "oh opps...a few ducks...I was trying to get some turkeys...but just look how cute they are...here hold one." I think it will work!
