I used a couple of huge bulbs from two different angles with a little natural sunlight for the puppy photos. OK, removed the halo and tweaked a little. Happy with it, now. :) Now, off to check on the chickens, poor things are sure they'll die if they leave the coop. Too much snow, says they.
Very nice!!!

Better without the halo. Looks great!

Yes, THAT is it! it will do well in gray scale too for B&W brochure or whatever.
3 brooders and 5 rabbit cages cleaned, 7 chicks off to new homes. And it's snowing again.
DH read this to me this morning,
http://m.gawker.com/5981191/if-a-real-raven-fought-a-real-49er-who-would-win
made me think of all you football fans. DH is getting paid to watch the game by a fanatic from work, this year and last year the 49ers won every time he watched ( giants too) . So we will be there this afternoon, lol.

Thank you for the good wishes for me new chickens! I am very excited about them. The settled in remarkably well and are trying to get the dog to play with them.

We processed 5 roosters this morning, 2 of them were Marans boys I was thinking about using as Louie replacements. They dressed out at 4.5 and 5 lbs, I was impressed, BIG boys. I'm really liking this cottage hill bloodline.

Did you all see this story this week?

http://www.newsnet5.com/dpp/news/lo...tates-postal-service-for-unpaid-traffic-fines

Essentially, it says, "the Postal Service enjoys federal immunity from state and local regulation."  The company that runs those red light cameras responded with, "". . . if they are able to speed through school zones and endanger children and run red lights, you'd at least think we'd get our mail faster."

Now that is just incredible that USPS employees are above the law.

:th

Cool so now they don't even have to slow down as they drive by and toss the boxes of fragile hatching eggs over your fence as they go by.

That's not too far from what they already do... Thankfully, my local PO is kind, but on the way here, I'm positive that they stomp on the boxes, throw them out the window from the 12th story, send them to China and back, freeze them, thaw them, then freeze them again, X-ray them, radiate them, and then run them over for good luck...
