That's not too far from what they already do... Thankfully, my local PO is kind, but on the way here, I'm positive that they stomp on the boxes, throw them out the window from the 12th story, send them to China and back, freeze them, thaw them, then freeze them again, X-ray them, radiate them, and then run them over for good luck...

Next will have to collect my 10 egg swaps for offering later eggs, but happy to be on the unrestricted list. I feel so free. *big stretch*

Thanks guys. I was so happy to find this swap. There's no way in heck I would've ever thought I'd be able to have "fancy-smancy" chickens and here I am, with a Rhodebar in the brooder, a legbar due to hatch tomorrow and more of the same headed my way this week. I can't thank you enough.

I am just lucky to live close enough to the "queen of the fancy-schmancy chicken" who loves to share!

My DH has banned me from swapping...I guess I'll have to break down and get my own Paypal account. I still have more of certain breeds that I want....but, but, but. I think the final straw was when I claimed yesterday during a church meeting.

This week has been going exceptionally slow for me. DH has a job interview in CA for a job that would double his current salary, to start. If he gets the job it would be so nice for us on so many levels. I am keeping my fingers crossed and trying not to be too hopeful, but I cannot wait to get closure on it one way or the other. Please keep us in your thoughts.

Good luck! What area is he interview in ? There are a fair few areas here where rent might make 2x a salery a pay cut. We are in a crazy boom again in silly valley. Didn't they learn anything from the last 2 booms??

DMRippy - I got the eggs today, all wonderfully packed and in great shape. Where do you get that wonderful, heavy duty bubblewrap? Such pretty blue eggs and BIG white eggs! The aircells were a little enlarged, but none blown.

I think the preschool teacher is going to have a great hatch.

That bubble wrap I get from a Perfume kiosk in the mall. They unpack it and I pick it up. I get 2-4 55 gal trash bag full every trip. FREE

They have great THICK boxes too. I don't get them often, but they would make GREAT shipping boxes for big birds, they are SUPER heavy though.

I the think the WL just have big air cells. Sometimes they are on the side even here at the farm. GOOD LUCK! Let me know how it goes!

Your eggs were GREAT looking too! I LOVED the color on the EE eggs.... kinda had a BRIGHT Yellow huge, but still blue.
