Just FYI: If I owe you eggs...which that's kinda funny, cause I probably owe EVERYONE eggs (for spring and beyond)
If I owe you recent eggs, or eggs that I said would be shipped out soon, or you think I should have shipped them out to you already, please let me know. I have got too many irons in the fire with trying to keep up with parent stuff (health issues) my job, helping hubby with school, and of course all my many animals... that it may have slipped my mind. Not intentionally by any means, but right now I seriously have short term memory, or maybe it is just exhaustion. Anyway, you may be forgotten, but only temporary, I promise.

Guess what? My blue ams are OUT of the lav black pen....the only thing thing in there other than blacks and Lavs is one gorgeous splash boy and he is coming out to!
One splash/blue pen,one black/lav pen,one fluffy pen for now. Maybe take the splash out later...and make them a total splash pen...I have the split to fluffy roo,and I think both splash hen are fluffy...one MIGHT not be a split so we need to test that one...but I'm excited now you can all pick and chose which one you want.?so many people want just blue or lav...never the two shall meet!

How many fluffies do you have... my one egg didn't want to join the party. But did get plenty of cute fluffy cheeks to hatch tho!

Just a clarification as I have had a few ask about this. To join in the swap, EVERYONE has to fill out the information form. The swap owner, the moderators, on down. We all have filled out the swap information form. Just part of the effort to make this a safe and fun swap for everyone....

Looks like a Legbar-is it? Is it your first one? They are ALL that sweet! They are the first ones to greet me when I step in the coop, they love to be held and petted (I don't typically hold my chickens, but the Legbar pullets will fly up on my shoulder or my lap)!

She is! I'm so smitten!

I really wish that her hatch mate could've joined. She was just going to trade me the one originally and because I told her I was bringing her a few extra chicks she said she'd let me have both since I'm going to be breeding them. Well when push came to shove she couldn't give up both which I totally get because she's so lovely! I hatched out a little cockerel from candace at NYD so they're going to be bf and gf!

The start to my leg bar project! I can't wait to get their new coop!

Bummer! They REALLY are fragile...you could still have a fluffy since I have found since separating them that one of the eggs looks just like the other ams virtually undetectable...had no idea one of them laid a fairly blue egg ...she is a splash split...I saw her myself bred by the silkied roo a very vigorous fellow I paid attention to who is breeding whom. Anyhow hope you got lots o babies...


to answer that question I have a silkied roo two silkied hens and one split hen in that pen right now...then there are two more splash boys and another splash ( I hope split) hen total seven silkied ...oh OH and we just had the startling revelation that our blues well two of them could be splits....sigh. Only test mating will tell...so we shall see, so a total of seven with the gene...and the fluffies are laying great.

We set a batch last week just to test fertility can't imagine it not being good...and see what chicks we get ....they are hard to hatch in this form..(pure) but bet those splits hatch....that's good too since we need a bunch of those also. Then we will fill those orders...
