Okay, someone answer me a question. If a roo is doing his thing with the ladies, doesn't that usually mean the hens are either laying or going to be laying????? I just witnessed my new polish roo doing his thing but those girls haven't dropped an egg in 2 months. Does it mean they will be laying soon?
We have a young SBEL roo who wants to breed anything and everything. ( I think its super hormones personally)

Basically I am getting some Partridge Barthuhners, Blue Columbian Brahmas and some Spitzhaubens for a good deal. I'm trying out the spitzhaubens.
they are NJs. she just doesnt want them, to many chickensI would say those aren't pure. The coloring on the hen is just wrong. And I'd say the roo doesn't look right either. $20? Too good to be true to me. Hold it, are those legbars or NJs?
