Ugh. Since I decided to be silly about turkey eggs, now I'm thinking about spending $35 on a piece of crap LG so I can set it up at the new house, move the eggs to it and then finish up the cabinet incubator. Is it worth it? I guess my old one was okay for hatching (JUST okay, nothing spectacular, nothing like the sportsman or my old 1588), but I'm half afraid and not sure it's worth buying another LG (even if it IS on sale).

that's kinda what I wad thinking but i'm wanting them shoo bad thought maybe I could swing for it...but I want the real deal...just can't afford them right now. I got $75 from dh for my bday and he said get what I want...but it doesn't pay for what I want lol!? is that so wrong?!

You might have been able to get 1-3 chicks not including shipping

everyone gives the LG a bad rap IMO. I"ve got 3 that I"ve used for several years and never had a problem with them. just have to spend some time setting them and they work fine. Again, just my 2 cents

I didn't like the one I had. Just an overall pain in the butt. I started with the LG, then bought a 1588 and was hatching in the LG, then quit using the LG altogether, now I have the sportsman and sold the two tabletops. I just need one to transfer eggs into basically. I don't want to spend the $100+ for another genesis just for a few eggs one time, but ugh. I'm really not fond of the LG at all.
