Oh it's not good. All the part. bart made it along with the 2 brahmas. The spitz didn't fair so well. The spitz were sent separately and Marans were used as packing peanuts. All the marans made it but 5 of the spitz did not. That was some nasty carnage in that box. It looks like for some reason that box got cold. The barthuhner are some big chicks and I can see how they stayed warm. Wow, so are the brahmas. I'm assuming from the looks, spitz aren't overly big birds.

Yep They're both good for infections and colds -- just a little bit diluted with warm water.

Good morning guys. It felt nice to sleep in this morning. Looks like my chickies will be here this morning since they processed through our sort facility over an hour ago. I am seriously going to need a new brooder soon or kick some chicks outside. Not sure I can do that yet with the weather still being cold.

And if anyone has an Ecoglow 50 for sale, please PM me. I am most likely going to need another one and I refuse to use heat lamps.

Good morning! I'm glad you got to sleep in We're hitting the 40s today with near-thirties expected at night for the next ten days, so my six week olds are moving out to the barn today with aheat lamp I've been "hardening" them off inside for the past four days, so they should be ready for it.
