I have been meaning to ask you...what do you have in your EE pen that has feathered legs? My one cutie from you is blackish with feathery feet.

I have 3 EE hens that have feathered feet. So that is how you got them. I love the ones with the feathered feet they are awesome.

Yes, I am gonna let my kids show them. They were purchased as SQ and had placed before. They shipped all the way from Wisconsin so they have a little warmer weather here.

Oh it's not good. All the part. bart made it along with the 2 brahmas. The spitz didn't fair so well. The spitz were sent separately and Marans were used as packing peanuts. All the marans made it but 5 of the spitz did not. That was some nasty carnage in that box. It looks like for some reason that box got cold. The barthuhner are some big chicks and I can see how they stayed warm. Wow, so are the brahmas. I'm assuming from the looks, spitz aren't overly big birds.

I almost took a few of the Spitz myself, they are such nice looking birds.

I'm still waiting to hear from Jenny. I have a blue and black spitz. My black barthuhner is missing and I have no idea what color the other spitz were. Doesn't look like any gold at all, just black and blue.

Cute! I am a fan of the feather feet as wel. Can't wait to see what hopefully She looks like! Sorry about your chicks madam. I lost 6 of my hatchery friends today even though they seemed to be packed well really well with a heat pack, food crumbles and grow gel! Poor babies.
