Set the eggs from Donna and thespoiledchicken today!

Also moved the Superbowl Babies to the brooder in the garage. I was going to keep them in the house for a couple more days, but I actually had someone respond to my CL ad and I don't want random people in my house. Garage is okay, but not my house. Hopefully they'll show up tomorrow.

I've found that people here want sexlink chicks, I'm close enough to the city that they don't want to "risk" having to get rid of a roo. I'm trying to figure out how I can make some fun sex-links to offer next year from my layer flock and since it's my layer flock, they have to lay decently too. So I'm on the look out for cuckoo or barred birds that lay really well, and a dark Roo. Probably an Ameracuana... Not asking for much am I?

Mine is beautiful, he just needs some lady friends. He is my only wheaten am that survived the dog attack last year. His name is Lucky. He deserves a harem, me thinks.

Oh I don't doubt that for a second. I keep the females for my Olive Eggers. Though I have been considering having a strict OE group which I would want a blue egg cockbird so maybe I'll just have to keep a boy

I'd love to come, actually joined the fb group and put in on my calendar...and then realized it's the only day that we can celebrate my eldest's birthday party.

Since family *should* come before chickens, I have to pass.

I'm totally planning on making it to the fall swap, it's a bit closer to me anyways. Between family, work and school I'm totally swamped and have almost zero time to quilt, so maybe next Spring I'll have some crafty goodness to peddle.
