Nope I didn't win it. Went too high for me. Somewhere over $700. Besides, I have 9 little darling growing. I'm a patient person. And I have my blacks so I can't complain too much.Jeannie,
Hope you are doing well with this weather. I was trying to see if you won the partridge barthuhners????? Was hoping to go back and look but it was already over.

Wow, look at all that snowGood morning everyone
Well we made it through the worst of the storm unscathed
We lost power for about 3 hours early in the evening but luckily got it back last night. Incubators got down to 85before I managed to get them on backup battery power- I'm thinking they will be ok

Chickens are so not happy this morning, lol. I dug them out but they are staying in the run for sure. Gave them lots of yummy treats to compensate.
Dahlisgram- How did you make out?
Everyone else do ok in the storm??
Here are my poor chickens stuck in their snowed in coop

Good Morning EveryoneChicken and Rabbit duty finished until noon check. Was sad this morning I found one of my NJ little roo's dead. I took them out of the brooder and put them in a heated pen a few days ago. First night lost one little roo and now a second one. They are all healthy and seem fine. Don't know whats going on unless the girls (who are a lot bigger) are stepping on them. I now have only 2 roos left. 7 girls are doing great....
Madamwlf - sorry you didn't get the barthuhners. I'm glad you have the little ones
Happy that no ones electricity went out! It is nerve wracking when you don't know whats going to happen....

So sorry about your little roos. It's a hen conspiracy you know. They don't need no stinking roo.
