G'morning everyone! Can't say I remember a V-Day with snow but we have it today. Oh what fun.

We dont truly celebrate as hubby shares my feelings on halmark holidays lol, besides we do things special year round so dont need a day to tell us to spoil each other.

Nope, we don't either. Don't need a day out of the year to celebrate love.

I am using Valentines day as an excuse to take a day off from work. I havent had a day off in over a year (new job, had to wait a year to have any time off) and I am so happy to be here in my house with my new chicks during daylight!!!!! I did get DH a gift...a set of sliderule cuff links and tie clip from an antique store. He collects sliderules and antique engineering equipment so he is going to LOVE these. (yes, I have an engineer geek for a husband)

I get so psyched when I find a gift that is really perfect for someone.

Then, later, I am picking up my new dorking roos and a couple of red pullets and a whole bunch of dorking eggs Woot!!!!!!!

Received silkie and araucana eggs from Ray_n_Debi today. Such beautiful eggs with lots of extras and none broke! Great packaging, made it feel like Christmas getting to unwrap all the eggs!
