Good Morning Everyone - Happy Valentines Day?? I have a class full of 10 year olds dressed like the folks from Hee Haw (we are doing a school wide play today) and to top things off the school board decided it would be good to combine it with GRANDPARENTS DAY!! Sorry, small intermission - caught the boys blacking out their front teeth with NAIL POLISH - will have to explain that to someone.... Grandparents will come to class with us after the play to watch me teach....Oh Joy - It is a half day for the kids but we have to stay until 6 for a meeting..... Please Pray I keep my sanity (and my job) !!!

My Chocolates laid again this morning - 4 eggs in 2 days !!

Hope they hatch!!!!

Trying to be sorry, but having a hard time.... I think Madam is laying the largest egg.....

I have not seen Sir W.V. dusting the hens. Do you think they may hatch?

He wasn't the head roo in that pen so I doubt it. And the head roo hasn't been great at his job. You can try though.

Any advice for hatching shipped eggs? My first ones are coming in today! I've been reading that they should sit small end down to acclimate to temps. But I've also read that they should go into the incubator and sit still for varying amounts of days before turning. Any and all advice appreciated. TIA!

Received silkie and araucana eggs from Ray_n_Debi today. Such beautiful eggs with lots of extras and none broke! Great packaging, made it feel like Christmas getting to unwrap all the eggs!
