Good morning and happy Valentine's Day. I work late today, so no special celebration for us today. We tend to be pretty sappy all year long though so it's ok. Although he is being mean about more chickens (pout, pout). Ah we'll. I set some of my own eggs last night, we'll see how that goes. Really hoping I can get them to hatch without too much problem. Now..,off to work with me.

Well, I find this sad. Out of my sons preschool class of 15 kids, he was the only one who made is own valentines. All the rest where store bought or candy.

Any advice for hatching shipped eggs? My first ones are coming in today! I've been reading that they should sit small end down to acclimate to temps. But I've also read that they should go into the incubator and sit still for varying amounts of days before turning. Any and all advice appreciated. TIA!
Unwrap them. Let them sit pointed end down in and egg carton for 12-24 hours with out moving them to rest and let the airsac settle.

Would anyone want these water bottles? They haven't really even used since the quail couldn't push the water release hard enough to make them work. They have been just sitting in my food/water container bin in my shed. You want them, their yours. Maybe pay $7 for shipping, or swap for a couple eggs. They where 7 bucks each new, so nothing special.

We made ours last night. We broke up a ton of crayons into small pieces and put them into some valentines molds in the oven @200 for 15 minutes let them cool and had special valentines crayons for everyone. We printed a little card which he signed. Have no idea what valentines he'll get though.

My sons party is tomorrow. He's been printing off chicken valentines off the Internet, so kinda homemade. Bet he's the only one that has chicken everything. Even his valentines day box is a CHICKEN made from a shipping box. If he could get me to do it he would want chicken candies to hand out too!

The grandparents are here and as wild as the kids. They are teaching them how to make paper airplanes

I will be regretting that next week. I have been very pleased. I ask the students to MAKE cards as they show love and caring. Almost ALL of them did...I guess they DO listen occasionally!! Home made shows LOVE
