Morning all!
I had the issue in a female chick, from an egg I got from papa brooder. I asked on the Rhodebar thread about leg issues but didn't get any answers. I have 6 more in the 'bator. I'll let you know how it goes.Is the issue popping up between multiple breeders or just one roo and hen(s) breeding pen?
if its just one breeding pair I would question genetics and swap the roo (if it is an option). Sometimes two birds gentics just dont click and create issues in the off spring. the roo and hen(s) could be too closely related as well creating this issue.
all just thoughts and something to think about
Awesome!!!I got my very first Mille Fleur Leghorn egg yesterday!!!![]()
I FINALLY have a chicken LAYING!!!![]()

I appreciate the support this group has given, not only me, but to anyone that has been in turmoil and gotten a cyber hug. For me, and its pretty sad and pathetic, this is really the only place I had to turn to last night... My family doesn't live close, and I haven't made any close friends in this town since we moved here a year ago. So I greatly appreciate you all.
