plenty of sunshine here today................ but uumm we were COLD! like what the heck cold. 89 two days ago and not even 50 today. Even our waterfowl are wimps and wanted to stay in today.

So, question. I have a single female legbar that hatched 2 weeks ago. She's substantially smaller than the other chicks of the same age. Are the legbars small? Even my SBEL chick is bigger than she is...

I have been meaning to ask you...for my geese, since green grass is in short supply here this time of year...what about adding alfalfa pellets to their feed ? I already feed store bought greens or some green grass grows out back of the property that my kids go out and fill baskets up.
I also have a bag of wheat seeds to start growing fodder for them...just haven't started soaking it yet.

Today was AWFUL for wind. We were packing and I finally said I was DONE, whatever is in the car goes, everything else stays, because I was that fed up withthat dang blasted wind!
