X 4 here. But I adopted 3 beautiful children 3 years ago, as a single mom, working on #4 and praying for #5. Then I am done...I think.

I figured the same, always heard it was next to impossible if you were single. Glad it's not true... a partner doesn't always equal stability!

I have been fostering for 7 years in FL and NC. I adopted the 1st children to ever walk in my door, my 3 oldest.
I have never been discriminated against for being single. At the time I adopted the first 3, I was in a relationship but not married, so I adopted them myself, but since we have split up.

As a woman who was adopted at the age of 6, I thank you for helping and saving those children from uncertain circumstances. I owe my adopted parents my life, they saved me from a horrible place so I am so grateful for those who adopt. I had planned on adopting, then I got pregnant. Then again. No more babies here.

Thanks to everyone for the incubator temp advice. I am aiming for 101 just in case it spikes. Seems to be stabilizing pretty well now but staying up all night to keep an eye on it is just not possible. Well, possible, just not probable.
