Yeah, we ha some pretty sting wind gusts. I went out to the chicken runs to check on them. Of course, had some huge gusts and heavy rain start up while I was out there. Thought the kennels where going to get lifted by the roof and blow over. It was kind of unnerving. As soon as it passed though, with in ten minutes the skies started clearing and patches of blue sky where shining through

Morning all!

I called a couple of feed stores to see when/if they were going to be getting brown leghorn chicks in. Feed store A said no, but went to the effort to see when they expected them in. Feed store B was rushed, informed me that they won't get chicks at all until tomorrow, and wouldn't tell me what they were expecting to get (I know they have a schedule) when I asked, she informed me that they don't always get in everything that they expect so they don't make any promises and that I could call tomorrow to see if they had them.

I think I'll be buying from Feedstore A.

Anyone know anything about Roll-X incubators? I found on on CL but can't find a new one to see what they go for. They're asking $100, and from the picture, there's no turner included.

This is the picture from the ad, it doesn't have any of that other stuff on it. And no rollers. The new fancy smancy ones with bells and whistles are $500+.

So I guess $100 isn't a bad price at all?
