I have one for youI had to share this story, I was talking to my neighbor the other day and he asked if my chickens were laying yet. I told him none were old enough yet, but my duck should start laying anytime. His response "Ducks lay eggs!?" I said yes, he asked if you could eat them. I did not laugh. I really wanted to but managed not to. I mean most people do know birds lay eggs right?
I have one for you
Had customers pull in on a Saturday (we have farm pick ups for eggs ect). She gets out and shrieks "OMG look at that goose its SO FAT!" "OMG (husbands name) LOOK AT HOW FAT THAT GOOSE IS". He gets out and begins to echo her very loud shrieks. They were looking at our exhibition dewlap toulouse lol. She then looks me in the ey and is totally serious. "IS SHE PREGNANT?" yes she yelled it. I tried to explain geese lay eggs, to which her face went blank and she shook her head. "NO THEY DONT"![]()
