really good, just put the little ones outside a couple days ago. Still think a roo and hen

NPIP is APHIS ran which is PART of the USDA, so in therory they are USDA inspected, but NOT directly lol

Looks like they raise cows as well. Maybe they're inspecting the chickens when they're out inspecting the cows?

I just got my first egg, from dh's SDW Yokohama hen, she is in a pen with a Blue Sumatra roo....any idea what the resulting birds would look like? Or a thread that might know?

Sounds like a lot of birds are deciding that today is a good day to start laying.

I am SOOOO excited for my Pilgrims! This is my first year with them. I have 2 pairs and this egg I got today was the first egg ever laid by this goose. Both hens are from last year's hatch. I'm so tempted to put it in the incubator already, but I'll try to wait a couple of days to see if she lays another.
