Please let me know how the birds faired there long journey to you. The Po is really getting on my nerves. Makes me not even want to ship anything anymore.

Question Guys for you genetic wiz's: If I put a Exchequer Leghorn Male over My Female White Leghorns will I get a 50/50 or even any Exchequer at all.

Grrrr! I despise the post office sometimes. Dropped off eggs to be shipped and she would not (flat out refused) to scan the package in.

What?! Wish I had been with you! It takes all of 15 seconds to scan it and print the receipt. I'd have been upset. She's not doing her job. Most will scan without even being asked.

Someone said that they have the dominant white gene, and so the answer is, not the first generation. The first generation they would all be white, with leakage of black. The mottled gene needs 2 copies to present so you used a different color it would still take 2 generations.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong. I am still learning,

One of my students(9 years old) came up to me yesterday (they all know we have chickens) and asked me how many roosters I could sell him. I naturally said, "Roosters? Why roosters?" He told me all of his got beat up and died. Geez....
