Me too!! I am so tired of winter! This last freezing cold snap got several birds sick so its oxine, acv, probiotics, and vitamins in their water for a week. My daylilies are all droppy from the snow

I finally get pretty spring flowers and they look terrible. Where are you spring?? It has been so wet that one of my horses have thrush in his hooves. The back of my barn has been a mud hole for 3 months.

I'm hoping this is it. It's suppose to be in the 40s and sunny tomorrow. It was in the 50s yesterday. What a crazy winter.

There are lots of things that make an Ameraucana an Ameraucana but a Red Comb is a requirement.  Slate colored legs, most are solid color, pea comb, muff and beards and blue egg genes just to name a few.

Yeah, i am aware of all the other requirements, was fAirly certain about the red comb, but went to double check and couldn't find the answer :) so thanks.

I have been busy planting but trees Thea last two days and dealing with a strep throat outbreak in the house. One person gets feeling better, and another person falls victim. I'd rather us all get sick together so I don't have to worry about antibiotic resistance and reoccurring infections.
As for the trees, I planted a almond tree, two chestnuts, 2 hazelnuts, 2 pecans... Also four bush cherries and one cherry tree. :th my back hurts

In East Tn we have a saying, "If you don't like the weather, don't worry it will change" We never know what to expect- weatherman gets it right about 40% of the time. Monday it was only supposed to get to 40 and it actually almost reached 60- next day- high was only about 32. I think this weekend is supposed to be really pretty and warm. Next week is my kids spring break, it typically is terrible weather and we have been know to get our worst blizzards during spring break. So I am curious as to what it really will be like next week. I have lots of chicks that need to find an outside grow out pen this weekend to make room for newly hatched chicks - so really hoping for good weather.

I keep going back and forth between those bush cherries and blueberry bushes to landscape in front of our porch...have you every had the berries from them? I feel a little cautious because the last cherry I planted ended up with little tiny sour things lol
