Most all thermostats have the relay built into them, just like the wafer thermos use the snapswitch, I think mine is 22 amp. What type of heating element are you using

Please hold them KK, I have to take April's bator back in the morning and the LG is absolutely crammed full. I have so far lost 10+ turkey eggs from these tabletop incubators, including the last eggs from the turkey hen who died, the entire first set of midget whites, and I think one or two RP eggs from you. Looks like I won't have any turkeys from the 6 or so shipments of turkey eggs, if everything keeps going as it has been.

No turkey! Oh my god we just can't have that! PM when you have a bator up and running. We'll get something figured out. I have one girlie for sure in my younguns that will be laying late April early May, so if nothing else I could send you three at a time.

I just heard from a lady that traded me her White Holland eggs for my midget eggs. She has 11 feisty little twerps running amok. She has already fallen in love with them. Everybody should have some itty bitty midget love.

Quote: if mama is willing I could send them to her, if that seems like something you want to do,how far away from each other are you? I am so sorry you're having all this trouble. keep the faith girl, it will be ok

I have a friend that lives in Caribou. I think she is nuts for living in all that snow. In the summer she thinks I am nuts living in tropical-ish heat and humidity.

That's too funny my girls dance in Caribou!! I have been wanting to move there and that's over an hour more NORTH!! Yeah the winter is loooong but I hate the heat more than the cold I could barely stand So Maine's heat!!! Just by now I just long to see the ground nevermind flowers! Oh yeah it's the humidity that really zaps me, all last summer it got to 105 and we had the air conditioner going all month. It's kind of funny when September hits here you can tell some of the people that only summer here because they whip out the winter gear and everyone else that lives here is still in shorts!

I am sorry if I laugh at anyones expense but hey people who live in warmer climate I am sure laugh at me sweatting buckets at just 95 degrees!
I will take mild winters with snow every 10 years (1-2" maybe) and hot humid summers...even hurricane season in the gulf... over freezing cold winters with tons of snow anyway!
I couldn't take a winter with OUT snow-plus when people in those places DO get snow they don't know how to drive ha ha ha(really kidding but kinda not

Well, it was the size of the wire. It didn't fry it, it literally broke it, physically, because they were too heavy duty. Instead of wire bending when you worked with them, they broke the thing in the thermostat that you connect the wires into. :/

No relay. I can laugh now because I can't touch the bator til April or so.... but, I had asked, I assumed the relay was because the guy was starting from scratch... the guy said no matter what, you need the relay. What a doof and what a waste of my time and money. If it hadn't been for blowing the relay, the thermostat wouldn't be broken as well. *sigh*

I can't believe it my roos must be totally on the ball. I only let my roos run with my hens for a couple of days and litterally the day after I set 2 eggs from my splash wyandottes under my broody wyandotte(had to give her something to do she kept pushing my cochin off her nest) One of the eggs is totally fertile it has veins and everything!! I hope it was my GL Cochin maybe I'll get a feather footed blue laced red yeah!!

so I guess this means I might be able to start swapping some of my Cochin eggs soon!! Well if anyone wants buff and blue cochin eggs anyway, and as soon as I get a steady ammount of eggs.

I've got a meeting with my summer employer on Friday. They've confirmed that they want me to stage manage and want to talk about the productions! Yeah for being paid to do what I love! Now I have to read the scripts before Friday so I can sound like I know what the heck I'm talking about. Reading scripts has got to be my least favorite part of the whole process.
