Gable, I had two EE hatch yesterday and last night. I was beginning to wonder on one of them. It pipped 2 1/2 days ago. I finally chipped part of the shell and wrapped in damp paper towel because I was afraid it was sticky. Woke up this morning to the fluffiest, puffiest feathered chick ever. Both look like some kind of splash or blue. None of the orps made it, but 2 out of a swap is a good hatch and wonderful birthday item to wake up to. They are both in with my 4 AR Blues that hatched last week. I have chicks everywhere of all ages. I think I have 5 different hatch dates between now and the end of the month. I think I might be overdoing it.

I don't have my notes in front of me. I think your eggs are from the regular EE's. Which is the black splashish rooster over wheaten and blue wheaten ameruacana hens.


They will be leaving in a couple of months. Unless the DH builds another pen lol...
I would gladly send you some more or both, after I get my orders and swaps filled. Just give me a heads up if you want them.

Do I detect a wee bit of the Irish in your statement?  I don't think I have ever heard soft morning except from people of that region.  It is cool here but supposed to warm up.  Well, good morning and good bye, all.  I'm off to work on my 50th birthday.  My son's MRI is also set for this morning.  It is either going to be a very good birthday or a very, very bad one.  Think positive for me. 

Happy birthday and positive thoughts for your son! I'd cross my fingers, but arthritis kinda messes that up. Hoping for good results for a best birthday present ever!

Just putting it out there, if anyone has chocolate bantam orps and would like to trade eggs, let me know. My guys are from Jordan Farms and they import their own birds. So my birds are not the same blood line as GFF birds.

I would be interested, but I don't think I have anything right now that is worth it to you.

Right now just Salmon Fav, Buttercup Bantams and Arkansas Blues. Everyone else is POL and freeloading other than my mixed pen of little bit of everything with EE, Araucana and Houdan roosters covering them. LOL

I have huge amounts of quilting fabric if you sew. If none of that interests you, PM me.

You know I am always a sucker for hatching eggs!!!! PM me a couple of offers. This last batch was, by far, my best. I have been working on growing this particular strand of mother for 3 years....
