Ohhh...... ok. Or I can send you some serama babies when they are laying better and I hatch some out. Since serama eggs don't do real good in shipping.

That's no joke, I received 9 eggs from CPL..2 were broken, 1 cracked so I waxed that one, and out of the seven, only one is viable...the aircells were a disaster

OK, I have an egg problem. An egg exploded under my broodies ( I blame the turkey that keeps kicking them off to lay) the remaining eggs are dirty, nest is now clean. Any way I can clean them without killing them?

Jon Grice, before he got snarky with me, said he was getting $20/chick. He originally quoted me 110/pullet and 25/roo. When I emailed him recently he said 35/roo if I was local or 60/roo + shipping if shipped. That was for 16wk old birds. He didn't say how much a POL pullet would be but mentioned that they were each making him about 500/month.

It's definitely going to depend on the area. There is someone fairly close to me who has sold extra cockerels for $10. If I'm not mistaken, I think she's selling straight-run chicks for $10 as well.

It's a good thing that I bought mine to have a self-sustaining meat flock instead of for trying to make a buck. I would be deep in the hole on that.

One of my white Bresse boys started crowing this morning! It took me a few minutes to realize what that crazy noise was. He definitely needs to practice. :)
