When I use a paper box (12 x 17 1/2 box) they charged me a surcharge and it was going to CA and it had 40 + eggs in it. Was still less than $30

There is a bar code on the box they can scan for the size

As one of the dimensions was over 12" your paying for a large package to be shipped vs. a small pkg. As I've shipped everything from silver to folding tables I consider surcharge to be the balloon price

. In your example of 40 eggs for me to ship them from here I would be better off using 2 smaller boxes, either flat rate or my own under 12", than one large box.

got 12 SFH eggs in 2 swaps from Dahlisgrams all 12 went to lock down 7 have hatched and the other 5 have piped HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

I just got a new 10x10x6 dog kennel today, and tomorrow I build another coop, so I will be able to separate my Salmon Faverolles, and in two weeks I should be able to start filling orders.

I can't wait to start hatching them!

Unfortunately, I am broke until I sell some of the Marans chicks and New Hampshire chicks I am stockpiling. I hope someone contacts me soon!

Sheesh, you have Marans chicks people don't want??? They'd go like crazy here! No one is selling unique breed chicks here. If I were closer, I'd just switch those two claims to a couple of chicks...

I was going to ask the guy what was up with that pricing. I should have. Now I am ticked because she charged me an extra $11 I could have used to mail a 2nd egg shipment!

If you still have the reciept, I'd take it back and complain. Ask for the postmaster, it's awful to have paid that much.

I only see 1 blue slate unless there is one hiding. The other one looks like a black spanish

I was going to ask you if she was Akbash. Not too many people have Akbash dogs in the U.S. I used to caretake for a lady who had a pair for livestock protection. We used to find dead coyotes in their pen (which was also the chicken/goat pen/enclosure) in the morning. They are wonderful dogs. So are the GP's, but they are a lot easier to find. Where did you get her. I am so excited to meet someone with an Akbash dog.

We got him from here. http://www.camanna.com/ She thought that his mom was infertile, but they were surprised. She picked out the mellowest boy for me, and I love him! Right now we're working on the fact that the kids are higher in the "pack" than he is, so today's adventure of playing with the kids was a huge step forward.
