Oh cool! I love Dorkings personalities. They are self confident yet laid back. They seem to always be on the bottom of the pecking order...but they dont let it get to them and are friendly not flighty. But because of them and my desire to have one big happy flock, I stay away from the more agressive breeds. kid of like you dont want to put an invasive plant in your garden next to one that isnt invasive.Pysanki,
Did I mention that I have 17 silver dorkings from the University of Arkansas lines incubating right now? Fingers crossed for a hatch that is good enough to get a good breeding flock started. Dr. Bramwell joked that the cockerels from these are really kind of slow on the uptake. They are just the opposite of your normal juvies cockerels that jump anything with feathers.
