LOL I did not think of that one. I'll have to hatch out some more, I just sold the last one I had. A little blue Rooster. Between the feed store and the customers they send me, i can't keep silkie chicks.

There are 10 eggs that looked good when she put them in lockdown. This is her first time incubating, she's kept a check on temp, humidity, they whole thing. I'm proud of her for doing such a good job and not "forgetting".

So ALL my incubators are jam packed. I have the Dickey, the 1588, 2 Brinseas and now borrowed a LG.

I am doing the lockdown shuffle.

So... this guy ( my AC serviceman) asked me to hatch some eggs for his family, about 40 eggs. Sure, no problem. He drops off 11 DOZEN !! WHAT !!!!!

Needless to say, I will do my best and get some in. I have eggs of mine that get first priority.

Awwww! So sweet. My youngest started with Silkie's too. She has since moved on to Speckled Sussex and wants to show some WFBS (if we hatch any from Patty's eggs). She was interested in the Exchequer Leghorns I have, but the interest did not last past being flogged 3 or more times...lol
I will have to look at my date book (yes I am organized sometimes...lol

) I should have some whites or blacks hatching in a week or two. I'll have to move them out pretty fast though, that is also the time when the games hatch and they can be mean little buggers.



***Miss. Temptress, if I lived closer I'd help ya out. Of course then I'd also beg you to take some chicks off my hands too.... lol
