Did the sender have a package sent to Texas at the same time? I only ask because last year I was getting some chicks and the po person put in the WRONG ZIP CODE when they were processing the packages electronically. Even though my package had the address right on the package they almost went to NEW YORK!! I ended up having to drive the 6 hr round trip to pick them up-I am glad I did, half the chicks were dead or dieing- I sooo hate that sorting facility!
I don't think I could ever toe punch. There is a lot I can do-I am the best lung scraper around-but the toe punk thing makes me a bit squeemish
and and I'm not sure why! I read someone used colored pipe cleaners, so I will do pipe cleaners and nail polish and hope for the best. If all else fails I will just have TONS of separate chick pens with TONS of waterers!
Where can I get ivermectin for chickens or do I just use horse wormer? What is the dose? Is there one I can put in their water I have 40 chickens in 3 different pens. I have one heck of a time deworming my horse I can't imagine deworming a chicken! Does it matter what kind of vinigar or how much in the water?
