I am getting pretty mad about my Dewlaps. The fertility on the grey guys is just plain bad. I am tempted to put my girls in with a buff guy to see if it is the gander, or what. If it is the gander, I doubt highly I will buy another. 100.00 snacks for dumped dogs makes me on edge constantly...

Hee! I've been quiet the past week because I've been writing -- this morning was the first time in a while I thought I might have some time to play on the thread. Then my nice postal lady showed up with eggs, so of course I had to stop and unwrap them

The rule has always been 6 minimum for all offers of chicken eggs. The first offer has to be pure. I don't see the fairness in an individual taking a PP offer and then offering 4 eggs after the pure offer. You do have some on here that literally send only the minimum amount, no extras at all.

I have to admit, unless an offer specifically says 6+ eggs, I always assume they'll send the minimum -- although honestly, it seldom happens

I know when I start offering eggs it's probably going to look like a Chinese menu for a while -- pick 4 from column A, 4 from column B...

After checking out my wyandottes I decided to put the other guys in their own coop. There are 5 roosters in the wyandotte grow out coop and I would be adding at least 6 more roosters. So I will keep them separate.

I also bred one of my rabbit does yesterday and she finally submitted to the male!! Yeah, hopefully baby buns in a month.

That gander is a year old.

Yup, and I'm not at all upset when they do.

It's like going to a store, buying 6 avocados, and getting mad they didn't give you 8. Who knows, when you cut that avocado, it may not be good inside, but you still only bought 6.
Just because people are usually generous, doesn't mean the six eggs I bought really equals 8... And when I do get 8- I feel like I've won a prize e

I had two chocolate bantam orps hatch out last night!! These were my fertility testers and they are doing great!!! Sorry guys...... still will be late spring or summer unless promised earlier on egg swaps. I have to recoup some of my expenses first.
