Yes, I've hatched some and wow. I have a splash marans and the chick grew into a lovely blue cooper with a crest.

Well, they found my missing package. My Postmaster put out an e-mail and called the offices between me and the shipper (Michigan and Indiana, so theoretically, this should not have taken long to receive a package). The eggs were found sitting in Indiana yesterday. They had been there for 3 days. They put a rush on them and they were then sent Express Mail to Grand Rapids, then Kalamazoo, and to my local PO today. They arrived at 1:00 today and I would have had to wait another day to get them, but I went in and picked them up. If she hadn't made that call, she said it would have been at least another 2 days since they still had to get from Indiana to Michigan, to the sort facility, then to my local post office and then out to me.

I'm so glad she advocated and got them sent to me sooner. I'm very thankful for my local Post Office, but not too happy with their general practices. Even the employees at our local post office are upset with the USPS and how sloppy things are getting.

Just what it says.  There are days it seems my posts just go by.  Just had a bad morning.  Found one of my Part bart dead this morning.

I think everyone feels that way sometimes on online forums. If I was the paranoid type, I would say a lot of my posts go ignored... I don't worry about it, and I am not the paranoid type I am the anxious type. I think everyone here recognizes and appreciates your posts.

So my day has improved a bit. Got a lovely box of chicks, have no clue what half of them are. With that being said, I have 4 Tolbunt Polish chicks for sale/trade. Please PM me with offers. Obviously if I am shipping them they will have to be at least 4 weeks old so please keep that in mind.

I hatched two from CPL this weekend and they are the darn cuteist chicks. I so need more!

I'm so sorry. I think we all feel that way sometimes. Sorry about the P. Bart also.

On a personal note, looks like we are headed to the Mayo clinic next week. We will head out on the afternoon of the 9th. Andy has testing and doctor's consults on the 10th and 11th, and then we make the mad dash back down. 23+ hours of driving in 4 days separated by two days in a hospital = YUCK!

I'm sad for him that it had to be during the day he was supposed to fly out for his personal interview with CA Technology, but the doctors there said it was better not to wait until the next opening of the 22nd.

Keep good thoughts for us, and thanks for all the support.

Hi ALL!

I am absolutely beside mysefl!!! I have been at the airport TWICE to pick up birds that have not been on the plane

. Now I am missing THREE boxes. 2 boxes from Reese and 1 box from COF. I am just freaked out! Now they are saying the *might* be in Tennessee because of ice. Ice where??? We don't have any ice and we are the coldest place in the country. I am absolutely heartborken!!! I just don't even know how to help or what to do. This is a total of over 75 birds that have gotten on a plane from two different part of the country that are missing!!!!

Arrrrrrrg!!! How utterly frustrating! Dratted PO!!!

I'm thinking about putting my Golden Cuckoo Marans with my Cream Legbar roo...wonder what the result would be? Maybe an interesting barred bird with a crest?
