Hubby did the deed. That's the fifth attack in like a month. Never had a problem before and these keep happening way before dark. I'm pretty sure she's not going to make it, but I will give it my best shot.

Thanks guys I'm going to give her my best shot. She's a mutt, but we love our egg laying mutts. They pay for all the other fun birds we have.

Well we put all the turkeys in their camper coop. There was still some fighting, but I think things will settle down. It was funny because tiny tot the cutest little Tom thought he should challenge the new guys and then run behind me for protection. Frankie, Ralph, and big Tom are being a little rough on the new guys, but not serious. One of the toms came and crawled in my lap along with Priscilla, Fidget, Gidget, and Merry. I love little turkeys. Not their claws though. Ouch!

I have high hopes for these geese - they're to replace a pair that we had to send to freezer camp because they got downright vicious. They were hatchery african x's.
I really want a couple (or three) nice geese for pets.

I'm sorry your poor girl was injured. I sure hope she is a fighter and makes a full recovery!
