Shows how heartless they are. Sending sick chicks and a poor box and then telling you to kill the others too.

Ok question. Is this scaly leg mites that are on my Orps that just arrived today? All of there legs are like this. I have never seen legs like this on a chick before.

I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure they shouldn't look that rough. Have you checked them for mites and lice?

No but I guess I better. Good thing they are quarantened from the rest of my chicks. Good grief. I already sprayed scaly leg mite spray on them just in case. If they have the mites/Lice on them is my ivomec too strong for them.

No, I think you can use one or 2 drops on them. Being so young I would use one. If this is how he cares for his birds, I can only imagine what his adults look like. I sure hope you don't have any genetic issues with their offspring later on.

Ok I didn't see any mites or lice. Thank goodness I really didn't need another problem with them. A couple of them still look pretty bad. They are so skinny that I will be shocked if they make it. They haven't stopped eating or drinking all day.

I really hope they don't have any genetic issues. I really wanted these and now looks like I made a terrible mistake with one of the buyers I bought them from. I am glad I still have a trio coming from a differant breeder.

At this point I'm not sure I would trust his birds. If you ever want any eggs, let me know. Once I break my two broodies that is.

Michelle, I am with madam if you want eggs this summer let me know. Our trio is a choc roo over choc hen and black hen. Will be adding a few more as well over time, but that trio should be laying May/June I would guess
