Madam have you tried ginger ale? I use that when we have the stomach flu...seems to help.
Flocks if those are from me, the flock consists of 2 Bronze toms, 1 royal tom, 3 bronze hens, one royal hen (died after I sent those eggs) and a Narrie hen...so there is really no telling what you got! lol!
ETA: the chances of you having a couple pure bronzes are very good....and her bronze toms are gorgeous and huge!

oh! and five out of eight aint bad at all for shipped eggs!
yup krazy those crazy babies are from you! And it would have been six, but I think the well ran dry as I had to peel a poor chick out of its shell. So yes excellent on shipped eggs. We are totally thrilled.

I traded one of our FBCM Roos to a guy that lost his. He gave me eggs. None developed. The only shipping was in his car to my car to home. Not such a good result there. Oh we'll stuff happens.

just had anbitty hatch a little bit ago there is something wrong with his belly.

the skin is grown like it had never fully grown over. i put antibiotic ointment on it to try to keep it clean and from getting infected but i wasnt sure if there was anything else i could do or if anyone could point me to more info on what to do.

Looks like the yolk sac didn't fully absorb.

Okay, I think I might be in trouble...lololol
Just got home from Stacy's house and took her a very fat buff leghorn hen, two wheaton Am hen's, and two white silkie hens. Came home with a black cochin roo, blue mottled cochin roo, two buff cochin hens, two partridge cochin hens, some cochin chicks, and buff brahma chicks... lolol The hubbie is not talking much.

I reminded him he never said "no more bantam pens".

Also...
Eggs going out to Mrheinz77 and the next person getting pbr's Monday morning. I forget who that is right this second, but I will post DC#s tomorrow evening when I print labels and gather the rest of the eggs.

I have had an incredibly hectic week and a half. I can't even begin to catch up. I am so sorry to hear of all the shipping problems and sick birds and sick people.

I hope everyone is doing much better soon.

For flu, I always use Boiron Oscillococcinum - it is homeopathic, can be taken as a preventative and is available at most pharmacies these days. Maybe some chick pics will cheer everyone up.

I just hatched 7 sexlink Marans

(one was clear). I believe there are 4 girls and 3 boys, is that correct?

I also hatched 8 chicks from my EE roo over BR hens, which I believe are sexlink also, in blue and black!

Looks like 5 girls and 3 boys with puffy cheeks. I wasn't expecting the blue.

Ive fixed that by pushing it in through the naval with a moist Q-tip. hold it in place with your finger or the qtip for about five minutes and the naval will close enough to keep it inside the belly. Keep it moist or in the hatcher until it looks resolved (a few hours). good luck
