HELP....THEY ALL LOOK ALIKE NOW!!!!!

4 CS serama of some sort? I assume these 4 will be smaller than the rest

4 Olandsk Dwarf
4 Basque
3 Russian Orlaff
3 CCL
1 Hedema.
4 things are blueish with topknots. Did you have any silkies in there from someone? What other birds have topknots, beside silks and polish?

Calm down, take a deep breath and try separating them out by color and go from there....that's what I would do.
Hope you get it figured out

Hello crazy chicken people! I had a super busy weekend and just now have had a chance to catch up on a few posts. Mostly, I skipped to the end. Friday, we cooked and ate the rooster. All of our first home grown chicken. It was super good! My mother was a bit freaked out by it, but she also kept commenting how good it was, so...Success! Even the kids liked it. I was a bit emotional about the whole thing, but got over it. He was never purchased with the intention of "meat" so it was an interesting transition for me. I now look at all the chicks and think that they may grow up to be dinner, and love them all the same.

Saturday was lockdown for the marans eggs. Out of 14, 13 went into lockdown and look to have a good chance of making it. I have my fingers crossed that the tricky marans factor does not get the best of me, and them. I have three humidity and temp readers in there. It is reading at 73%. I hope that's not too high. Should I open the bator for a touch to lower the humidity?

In the brooders, I currently have one, three, and six week old chicks. I am ready to boot the six week-olds out, and am scrambling to get an outdoor grow out pen set up. We have a mini coop that we built for two chicks in the summer. It works to get them outside during the day, but is not sheltered enough for UT spring weather, nor is it big enough for six chicks. I have scrap wood that I can use to make a grow out pen that will be better for this time of year. Now to find time. DH is finishing the bathroom so hopefully I will be able to get him to work on the grow out pen and then we can start on the permanent coops. There is space for the some in the coop I currently have, so maybe when the chicks are a bit older they can room with the big girls until they get their own place...

Anyhow, hello!

Got the rabbit cages cleaned today, sold a quad of legbar chicks, now making chicken and dumplings. I'm starving. While that's cooking, got to clean a brooder out. Too much work and not enough time. Still don't have that darn fodder system together yet.
