Ok, so this was my RB assort several weeks ago- pic was about a week or so ago. The chick that is on the feeder is the one in question. He was supposed to be a barnevelder- What do you guys think? He looks black and gold

He is a barnie. Just not a blue one, he's a double laced black barnie

I am assuming.. the BBS genetics are applicable on barnies, right?

I just found the Porter's Heritage Turkey website. BIG mistake. I would love to order some. I'll have to wait, but I think I have narrowed it down to Sweetgrass, Tiger Bronze and Pencilled Palm colors.

All I can say is WOW!

Oh my god those Penciled Palms are just the prettiest aren't they! I want, but will have to wait.

Yes they are. blue, black and splash barnies. They say you can't tell the difference on the blues and blacks when they are chicks. I say bull. Either GFF hatches tons of blacks or they can tell the blues from blacks. I've gotten tons of blacks and very little blues.

I had no idea there were so many gorgeous colors of turkeys.

Anyone here into the odd and gothish things? I know someone has to be. I am for one. I love Ripley's odd stuff. 2 headed calves, weird stuff. But I also like supernatural stuff and I so want one of these. Please no bashing or bad comments. Not everyone has the same taste.

I am super stoked, I set 9 Cream Legbar eggs from CPL and all 9 made it to lockdown. 100% development for shipped eggs - outstanding!!! I am in California so these beauties had to travel a long long way.

I also have 4/6 of Waldons CL, 16/18 Double Laced Blue Barnies from Trisha and 6/8 marans from another breeder all make it to lockdown. . I've gotta say!!! Dev. rate from eggs shipped in Spring seems to be so much better than winter and summer shipments when the eggs can experience extreme temps. Fingers crossed now for a good hatch rate.

Wow that's realistic!!! My imagination is way too crazy. I think I'd have nightmares with that doll in my house lol! I love the supernatural.
