yes pictures! lol

I know 2 people who did last year, to never get what they paid for. Both had to email daily to finally get an answer and a refund

Ohhh.... No bueno! Guess I'll find another place for them. I liked the Mahogany Favs

Swindledana, I got a picture of that hen today. I have no idea what she is.

In the middle? Welsummer. Mine's egg is my avatar.

I got some pictures of all of my pens. They aren't pretty but quite functional. All but 2 pens are within my 6 foot privacy fence. The only predator we have had are mice and a rat. So here goes.

This is the White Bresse's new pen and coop. We are still waiting on 2 panels to make it a 10x20. I absolutely love the coop. It has 4 windows that face in the direction of the sun when it rises in the morning. The nest box are about 2 feet off the ground. We redid the roosts. All of our coops have natural branch roosts. These guys will get the pleasure of actually free ranging a bit when I am home and have time.

This is currently my largest pen and will be for the Blue Columbian Brahmas. Right now it has juvies growing out in it. Some of those will be shipped or split off to another coop to finish growing. The coop we built and frankly I do not wish to build anymore. I buy if I need something now and CL is no help. Everyone thinks their stuff is made of gold. This use to be my meat bird pen and I'm thrilled to finally have grass growing in here again.

This will eventually be my Partridge Barthuhner pen. Right now it has my bantam Chocolate Wyandottes growing out in it. It is a 10X20 dog kennel with a 6x6 children's playhouse converted to a coop. The playhouse we got on clearance.

Was she supposed to be BCM by chance? I have one just like her hatched from BCM eggs (not swindledanas, though). There was recently an auction on RBA for some Marans that looked like this.

Maybe they got the eggs mixed up. Sometimes the Welsummer eggs can be as dark as the BCM.

This is the bantam chocolate orps pen/coop. The coop is actually a dog house converted and the pen is 5x8. I have a portable dog pen I can use to let them out to have some grass time. You can see Napoleon to the right of the pen. Yes, little man has earned the name of Napoleon.

This is the future bantam Chocolate Wyandotte pen/coop. Exactly the same as the orps.

The Legbar Coop. We built this. They have a nice picture window to look out of each morning. Their roost sits level with the bottom of the window.

This was our first pen/coop. You can see the coop to the left of the picture. On the other side of the tarp is an covered outdoor roost that everyone in this pen sleeps on. They have the option. The coop is used for laying only. This is the Black Barthuhner pen with his mix of girls.

We added an attachment to the first pen then decided to make it a second pen. The coop is actually a clearanced lean to shed. This will be the Barnies coop/pen.

I am not very fond of this pen but it will due for now. I have chicks growing out in the coop right now. This will most likely become the Augsbergers coop when they finally grow up.

If anyone is interested, I have 24 silkie eggs (from black and white pens) plus tomorrows and 17 black dutch bantams plus tomorrows that i would side swap for something. If anyone wants them pm me what you have. These can ship first thing monday.

Now for my buns.

Doe #1 apparently wasn't pregnant at all. This is the one that had the litter but failed to cover them properly. She has since be reintroduced to the male.

Doe #2 who is most definitely pregnant and is due this Friday. She's already started making a little burrow in her nest box.

Doe #3

Just random shots:

Napoleon and his ladies

Bantam Chocolate Wyandottes. After giving these guys a look over with my Bantam Chocolate Orp rooster for comparison, I'm not liking their color at all. I'm hoping to get some Bantam Black Wyandottes and I so hope this improves their color. You can hardly tell they are chocolate.

I don't remember what color egg she hatched from and it wasn't marked.
She really does look just like my welsummers.

Cool to see your pens and coops! I am so curious how people separate and keep all of their breeds apart. Mine are just running all over the place.
