I just call my place unofficially.. "The Chicken Ranch".
When we bought the place...the 2 commercial chicken houses were still in use. And NO... I have converted these 500 foot long old chicken houses into my coops. I keep myself contained to the 36 x 70 pole barn.

You have an underground chicken railroad at your job.
You boss is not at all surprised about this.
You almost got kicked out to the curb with a poult because it is obsessed with escaping dentention and perching on your roommates head.
You discover, despite weeks of evidence and clear denial, that your "house" chicken is a Roo and are plotting out how to disquise it.
You consider purchasing a diaper for said mentioned "house" roo.
The thing your most excited about on your birthday is your first poultry swap.
You put over 100 eggs and lockdown and your first thought is "Room for More"!!!
You show up at your nieces baby shower with chicks for someone on craigs list.
You are making back door deals at the local high school bartering chicks for honey to make mead to bater to support you habit if hatching more chicks.

I may have to look into making mead to support my habit. My mother is just shaking her head... and I somehow managed to fill up the only rack that came with the sportsman already - so I need to make another rack to handle the two other swaps that are on their way.. oops...

I'm not ACCUSING ANYONE!  Just stating facts.  AND YES I DO OWE KRAFTY AN APOLOGY.  I mixed the 2 of them up for the second time.  SO SO Sorry Krafty You are very attentive and great to swap with.  Wish more swappers were like you and wish I would stop confusing to two of you.  Again, SO SO SORRY.

Apology accepted. I know I am busy and have some health issues going on, but I do try to keep up. If not keep up I do my best to keep people informed.

That is exactly how I felt! I know the girl has a crush on my son by the way she will follow us around, but saying those things is just sick. Look what she's doing to herself.
The school will once again have a conference with the parents. They seem to have a weekly meeting as she gets into trouble almost daily. I know last year she spent more time in the principles office than in class. She has issues! I just don't think the patents care.

So sad. I'm sure it is another teen mom in the making. The parents need to wake up and open the eyeballs!

I'm assuming you are calling my son young. Ain't nobody gonna confuse me for a young thang. Turning 50 this summer, walk with a cane and a bad limp. Most people think I'm the kiddos grandma.

I raise my boys as only children. Oldest is 30, youngest 9. I have two only children! Much easier that way.

Also, not to beat a dead horse.... but PMing a Mod is the best route. Having issues on the thread can cause a shutdown of the swap. Which would send many of us (Krazykat) into *cough* withdrawls, and cause mass hysteria. Just teasing you Kat, I'm included in that too.
