Crystal we got 6! I guess there were six mini moose eggs in there not five.

Aren't they just the cutest itty bitty mms ever? Now kiddo needs to come up with three more names. They are soooooo tiny and cute.

Another way of saying chicken poop. He calls George, our gander, it all the time. I think George believes it to be his other name. He'll say "come on you little CS I'm only going to see how soft you are!" George does not like to be caught, but he's so soft you just can't help snuggling his down. Poor Georgie Porgie.

I am going to try to get what they have tonight, if they don't go too high...they are also going to have spangleds, so hopefully I will come home with another hen/pullet or two of them...oh and chocolate orps too....if they aren't the bantams, gonna try for those as well....will let you know tomorrow how it turns out

Back! All birds arrived safe and so far, sound....13 Rhodes from GFF (13, wish they had added just one more) and a pair of Black Bresse from Madam, thank you so much

looking forward to the next pair, pictures do these birds no justice, really. They are gorgeous! Opened the box, and the first thing the cockeral does is fly up and land on my head...lol! Sure wasn't expecting that, skeered me!
I get the Mille's today also.....I am on cloud nine, which will turn into seventh heaven when the Jubilees arrive. lol!

Haha, I really hope that's not what hatches from these eggs! The current chickens make enough of it! Poor George, my ducks get tormented too. My 7 year old step daughter chases the ducks down and then carries them everywhere she goes. Good for the ones who are not friendly!

Yup kid does that with our khaki Campbell's too. We have one we call squishy who is really sassy. He loves to catch her, but she usually has a huge crop that slows her down. And you know how ducks are so fluid when you hold them, hence the name squishy.

Customer just picked up their eggs so off to clean another poopy coop. This one is the biggest, so it will take me a couple of days to shovel it all out. Never ever ever will I do deep litter again! Once I'm done with that then I only have three small coops to clean! I'll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel when I get to them. My arms are killing me. Thankfully I have a dump trailer to haul it up to the gardens. No way could I get it done if I had to wheel barrel it. That would be over a thousand feet an up a hill. This body could never do it.

What's another name for Junior? G is a junior already, and I'm supposed to name a gander George, but since I can't name a goose after him, and I can't name it Junior because he's a junior... now what? Just call it The Third? TT? Lol.
